BIO

Konstantin Petrijcuk has been in the sport for around a decade, accomplishing over 20 state record and 7 world record skydives. Konstantin is a passionate and energetic skydiver, whose attitude and confidence have driven him to achieve a number of unique and daring jumps with some of the best skydivers in the world. From flying with a bag of spaceballs and bowling balls, to riding a vehicle out of a Skyvan over the desert, there is a never a dull moment in Konstantin's world of skydiving. Konstantin has worked on multiple high-altitude projects, including research on safety, equipment operations, and procedures; he has also developed jumps for SSK, Velocity Sports Equipment, and different planforms for several companies. One of the many reasons Konstantin chooses to fly Infinity containers is because of the main pin protection the center flap provides. This makes him a more confident skydiver, allowing him to push his limits on every endeavor. Another feature Konstantin loves about the Infinity is the comfort and fit. Konstantin believes that the floating laterals makes Infinity the best rig on the market, hands down.

Konstantin was influenced by some of the best skydivers in the world early in his career. He uses that drive to inspire those around him to be the best that they can be, and never lose sight of their goals. Konstantin gets a great deal of gratitude watching his students thrive and become more confident, and happier in their lives.

"I believe that skydivers are unique individuals, and we need each other to complete each other. True value is added to our lives through our experiences in skydiving."

One of his favorite skydives is to jump with pyrotechnics on his feet. These pyrotechnics light up the sky and making people believe UFO's and meteorites are falling from the sky😉. Konstantin's current project and goal is the upcoming Pyro Night World Record on March 12-15, 2020, at his home drop zone Skydive Spaceland Houston.

Funny moments in skydiving: Riding a flying water heater with 2 of my friends over the desert in Arizona

Most valuable skydiving lesson learned: Best to be on the ground wishing you were in the sky, then in the sky wishing you were on the ground. Respect your wind limits and have a good understanding of wind gust and areas effecting your landing. It could save your life some day.

Skydiving Philosophy: 4 simple rules: 1# Safety comes first. 2# Do everything possible to achieve your goal. #3 Never break rule #1. 4# Protect your skydiving community and your drop zone.

Life Philosophy: Your mistakes and failures shape you into the person you are today. Never hide from your failures and always stand by your friends.
